The story examines a poll that appears in today's Parade Magazine that is titled "Has America Become More Spiritual?". More Americans are searching for a more meaningful way to experience their spirituality without having to adopt beliefs that don't seem to work for them--organized religion is not meeting their needs.
While most of these practices are not something that I would pursue, I do respect the individual's right to experience their spirituality in a constructive way that is meaningful for them.
